How does it work?
Rype is the source of your invoices which you need to process into your accounting system. XeroSync makes that a simple process by allowing you to send your invoices directly from Rype to Xero with a simple click of a button. Once in Xero the invoice can be approved for processing in your accounting system. Xero then gives you all the functionality to complete your debtor management include customer payments, bank reconciliation, tax and compliance reporting.
Getting Started with XeroSync
You can sign up for Xero at www.xero.com Once you have signed up you will need to go through the following steps:
- Create your Xero network key.
- In your Rype preferences turn on the setting to "enable accounting integration".
- Select Xero as your accounting system.
- Enter your Xero network key.
- Define your General Ledger Accounts.
- Start sending your Rype invoices to Xero.
Things to Know
- Xero invoices do not come back into Rype.
- Rype creates the customer in Xero at time of posting the invoice.
- Rype creates the item in Xero at the time of posting the invoices.
- Rype payments are not sent to Xero and must be entered directly into Xero.
